Description
This tea comes from a high mountain organic tea garden in Fengqing, Yunnan, the hometown of Dianhong. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used. The development of Dianhong black tea began in the 1930s, which is not that long compared to the history of tea. Due to its unique taste, texture and colour, Yunnan Dianhong has become the most popular black tea in China.
Hand-picked, hand-made, and made through special four processes of withering, rolling, oxidation and baking. Harvested from March to April in spring. The tea consists of one young leaf and one young bud.
Preparation Suggestion
2-3g Yunnan Dianhong, add 150-200ml 100C boiling water, wait about 2min until the leaves are stretched. The leaves can be brewed repeatedly 6-7 times, each brewing time can be extended by 10-15 seconds.
Sensory Profile
Smooth supple taste without acidity, bitterness or astringency. Smells of fresh lime leaves/basil. The warm notes remind of a bouquet.
Storage Suggestion
The packaging bags we use are environmentally friendly compostable materials: kraft paper + PLA (Corn starch derivates). Please store the tea in a dry and cool place or in a well-sealed tea can.
Do not put this product directly into the refrigerator, as the refrigerator is humid and prone to the smell of other foods, which will affect the taste of your tea.
